I know what you're thinking, "he's been back to playing how long? And he's making us hear about it?"
Well first of all, you can't start a sentence with "and", it's worse grammar than the contractions that pepper everything I write.
One of the things about my coming back to the game has been that my friends had started characters for the opposite faction that I usually play, so I rolled my up a Gnome-Lock, because I like 'locks. After I rolled the character I jumped back over to my Rogue with the Knights.
I spent most of the next half an hour knocking the dust off of him, and just as I'd started running quests with him one of my friends asked me over MSN when I'd be Alliance side next. I jumped at the chance to chat with my friends again and switched back to my Gnome. It was as if I'd never been gone, things were exactly the same, well, except the scenery, that was new.
The biggest difference in the environment from what I was used to was the lack of earth tones in the local pallet, everything was very cold. To be fair it was a snow covered mountain, I'm just used to working my way up to the snow, not starting in it.
All this talk of scenery has reminded me how much I've missed riding through Quel'Thalas, I think I know where I'm starting tomorrow.
